IT SPOT After Hours: Why the Best Conversations Don’t Always Happen on Stage

A conference programme can tell you who is speaking, where and when. It cannot tell you who you’ll end up talking to afterwards.

That is the unpredictable part — and often the most valuable one.

At IT SPOT 2026, keynotes, panels and Masterclasses bring ideas to the stage. But once a session ends, those ideas leave the room with hundreds of people who have their own questions, experiences and perspectives.

A comment over coffee becomes a twenty-minute conversation. Someone you met during lunch introduces you to someone else. A speaker you watched earlier is suddenly standing next to you without a microphone between you.

That is where conferences become more than programmes.

Networking works better when it doesn’t feel like networking

The most useful professional connections rarely begin with a perfect introduction.

They begin with “What did you think of that?”

Bringing 500+ professionals, 40+ speakers, founders, executives, engineers, marketers, creatives and entrepreneurs into the same venue creates something an agenda cannot schedule: proximity.

Throughout IT SPOT, networking happens between sessions, during coffee breaks and lunch, around the EXPO zone and in the conversations that continue long after a panel officially ends.

There is room to meet people whose work you already know — and people you had no reason to know before that day.

Then the lights change

After a full day of ideas, IT SPOT After Hours changes the setting, not the people.

The stage gives way to music. Formal introductions become easier conversations. The person listed as a CEO, engineer or speaker on a badge becomes simply the person you’re having a drink with.

And sometimes that is when the interesting things happen: a future collaboration begins, an idea gets challenged, someone offers the introduction you needed, or a five-minute conversation changes what you do next.

You cannot put any of that on the official programme.

You can only put the right people in the same place and see what happens.

On 15–16 October in Podgorica, that place is IT SPOT 2026.
